About this program
Funding to hire co-ops in healthcare or bio-economy
What this program funds
BioTalent Canada operates the Student Work Placement Program, a wage subsidy designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises that hire co-operative education students in healthcare or bio-economy sectors. The program accepts applications on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline. Eligible employers can apply at any time throughout the year. The subsidy helps offset the cost of hiring and training student workers in qualifying positions within these priority sectors. Applicants should confirm current details and availability with BioTalent Canada before submitting applications.
