A collaborative research centre bringing together leading scientists from UBC's Life Sciences Institute, BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, and Vancouver General Hospital to accelerate Type 1 diabetes cure research. The Centre focuses on developing new insulin-producing beta cells, protecting beta cells from immune attack, and targeting beta cell stress through integrated multidisciplinary research themes.
