About this program
The Build Communities Strong Fund—Local Impact Stream supports not-for-profits, municipalities, and Indigenous communities in Northern Ontario to build or improve community infrastructure for public use and benefit. FedNor provides non-repayable funding up to $1 million (up to 50% of eligible costs, or 100% for Indigenous recipients) for shovel-ready community projects that strengthen communities and advance local economic development.
