About this program

Connection Grants support short-term, targeted knowledge mobilization events and outreach activities in the social sciences and humanities. Grants fund workshops, conferences, forums, documentaries, and other activities that facilitate disciplinary/interdisciplinary exchanges, scholarly exchanges, intersectoral collaboration, and international research collaboration. Applicants must secure matching funds of at least 50% of the SSHRC amount requested from sponsoring organizations.
