About this program

NRCan's Education and Awareness Project Funding supports national and regional outreach and education projects that measurably increase public, industry, and local government knowledge and confidence related to light-duty electric vehicle charging, charging infrastructure, vehicle ownership, and operation. The program uses cost-sharing to fund experiential learning and targeted education initiatives aimed at removing barriers to mass EV adoption. The current intake for proposals is closed.
