The program connects agriculture producers across North America with emerging agtech startups. Eligible participants include farmers, ranchers, livestock operators, poultry and swine operators, fungi culturalists, and agribusinesses working in agriculture, agtech, livestock, grains and pulses, or produce sectors.

Members of Million Acres join a community where they provide feedback, insights, and real-world testing opportunities for new agtech solutions. Participation can include both in-person and virtual connections with startup founders. The program operates on a rolling intake basis, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis. This is a membership community rather than a traditional grant or funding program, focused on connecting established producers with innovation in the agricultural technology space.
