About this program

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) supports small-scale, high-impact development projects in Madagascar that align with Global Affairs Canada's thematic priorities. Approximately 4 projects will be selected for implementation starting Fall 2026. Projects must be conceived and designed predominantly by local partners and support positive bilateral relations between Canada and Madagascar.
