About this program

The GCWood Demonstration Project Stream funds multi-unit residential building (MURB) demonstration projects that use advanced wood-based building solutions, including volumetric modular and prefabricated structural components, to accelerate housing construction and mainstream wood in design and construction. The program aims to de-risk and support adoption of innovative wood-based products and building technologies, expand use of domestic wood products, and reduce GHG emissions.
