About this program

Mitacs Accelerate is a research-based internship program that partners post-secondary students, postdoctoral fellows, industry partners, and academic researchers to solve complex challenges. The program provides leveraged funding of $15,000 CAD per four- or six-month internship (or $20,000 CAD for postdoctoral fellows), where interns work collaboratively with an academic supervisor and partner organization on applied research projects.
